Terms of Service

1 · The agreement

By creating a Likely account or using the Likely apps or likely.fit (together, "Likely" or "the service"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Likely. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

2 · What Likely is

Likely is a food tracker that tells the truth about uncertainty. Instead of pretending your meal was exactly some number of calories, it shows honest ranges built from real food data, and guidance based on those ranges. The service includes the iOS and Android apps, your account, and the likely.fit website.

Likely is an evolving product. Features ship, improve, and occasionally get removed when they don't earn their place. We'll be straightforward about meaningful changes, and section 11 covers your options if you disagree with one.

3 · Not medical advice

Likely is an informational tool, not a medical one. Nutrition estimates, ranges, targets, and guidance are for general wellness and education. They are not medical or dietetic advice, and Likely is not a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, or any other qualified professional. Do not use Likely to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition — including diabetes, allergies, or an eating disorder — and talk to a professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a health condition.

If you are struggling with disordered eating, please don't use a food tracker without professional support. In the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) can help in a crisis.

4 · Your account

Give us accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@likely.fit if you think your account has been compromised. One account per person; don't share, sell, or transfer it.

5 · Trials, subscriptions & billing

Likely is a paid subscription. Current plans and prices are shown at the point of purchase — those shown there are the ones that apply.

• Free trial. Where offered, the trial is $0.00 today and gives you the full app for 7 days — nothing held back. Your paid plan starts automatically unless your store processes a cancellation in time. For an App Store trial, Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; for Google Play, cancel before the trial ends. The exact offer shown by your store at purchase controls if it differs.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access through the period you've paid for.
• Store billing. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, manage cancellation in your store's subscription settings. For App Store purchases, only Apple can issue a refund (request one at reportaproblem.apple.com). For Google Play purchases, you may request a refund through Google Play or contact Likely; where Play's tools, our policy, and applicable law permit, Likely can issue an eligible full or partial refund. Refunds are not automatic. Email us and we'll help you find the right path.
• Web billing. Web subscriptions are not currently offered. If we add them, checkout will identify the payment provider and the cancellation and refund terms before you pay.
• Founding pricing. If you subscribed at a founding price, that price is yours for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. If it lapses and you return, standard pricing applies.
• Price changes. If a price changes, it applies from your next renewal at the earliest, with advance notice — never mid-period, and never silently.
• Taxes. Prices may not include applicable taxes, which depend on where you live.

6 · Your content

Your food log, check-ins, custom foods, saved baskets, and everything else you put into Likely is yours. You grant Likely LLC the license needed to host, process, back up, and display that content to you — that's what running the service means — and nothing more. We don't use your content for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models. The Privacy Policy governs how it's handled, including export and deletion.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them to improve Likely without owing you anything — though we're grateful.

7 · Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service. That means, among other things:

• No unlawful use, and no use that harms others or Likely.
• No scraping, bulk-extracting, or redistributing the Likely food database or estimates.
• No probing, breaking, or working around security, rate limits, or subscription enforcement.
• No reselling, sublicensing, or offering Likely as part of your own service.
• No reverse engineering, except where the law says we can't stop you.
• No impersonating other people or misrepresenting your affiliation with Likely.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules — see section 11.

8 · Connected AI assistants

Likely lets you connect your own AI assistant to your account, with scoped permissions you approve and can revoke in the app. What your assistant does with your data is between you and its provider — Likely doesn't control third-party assistants and isn't responsible for their conduct, terms, or output. You're responsible for the actions tools you connect take under your grant, and we may suspend a connected client that abuses the service.

9 · Our intellectual property

Likely — the apps, site, design, brand, and the compiled food database and estimation engine behind the ranges — belongs to Likely LLC and its licensors. Some underlying nutrition data comes from public sources such as USDA; our compilation, structure, and derived estimates are our work. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Likely for your own tracking while these terms are in effect. That license doesn't include the rights restricted in section 7.

10 · Disclaimers & liability

Estimates are estimates. Likely's whole premise is that nobody measured your actual plate — ranges are our honest best model of the uncertainty, not a guarantee that reality falls inside them. Food data can contain errors, and your results are your own.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement — and we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent the law allows: Likely LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data; and our total liability for all claims related to the service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50 (USD). Some jurisdictions don't allow some of these limits, so parts may not apply to you. You'll indemnify Likely LLC against third-party claims arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the service.

11 · Termination & changes

You can leave anytime. Stop using Likely, cancel your subscription, and — if you want your data gone — delete your account in the app or through our account deletion page. Deletion works as described in the Privacy Policy.

We can act on abuse. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. If we terminate without cause — for example, shutting down the service — we'll give reasonable notice and a chance to export your data, and refund the unused portion of any period you paid us directly.

Changing these terms. We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use Likely after that means you accept them. If you don't, stop using the service — and if a material change reduces what you already paid for, contact us and we'll sort it out fairly.

12 · Law, disputes & the fine print

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts of Wyoming — except that you may use your local small-claims court if your claim qualifies, and nothing here overrides consumer protections your local law makes non-waivable.

Talk to us first. Before formal proceedings, email support@likely.fit and give us 30 days to work it out — most things resolve there.

If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a term isn't waiving it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with your protections intact. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Likely LLC about the service. Notices to you go to your account email; notices to us go to support@likely.fit.
